Reverse engineering applied to the gadget, to reconstruct the overall shape and the parts interesting for the cover model. Applied several iterations with the client to obtain a design according to their desired aesthetics and functional needs.
Tests in several flexible materials and thickness with 3D printing.
Delivery of the 3D model in several file formats so that the lab could request production through injection molding. Delivery of a physical version in rigid resin and also the flexible material chosen.
Tasks performed: reconstruction of the model from a measurer gadget and design of several cover options, as well as material and thickness options.
